“My Way – The Frank Sinatra Story” by successful producer Oliver Forster (among others “Falco – The Musical” and “BEAT IT! – The Show about the King of Pop!”) shows Sinatra’s incomparable career in impressive pictures, but also deals with the dark sides of his seemingly glamorous life. His life between Hollywood, Las Vegas and New York was glamorous, his marriages with Nancy Barbato, Ava Gardner or Mia Farrow passionate, his relationships with the Mafia and politics mysterious. The show presents “Frankie Boy’s” greatest hits and takes the audience back to the legendary time of swing with his big bands and will go on a major tour in Germany and Austria, including Berlin, Leipzig, Munich, Vienna, Düsseldorf and Frankfurt am Main, starting at the end of 2021. We are looking for: !!STRONG SINGERS WITH DANCING SKILlZ!! – Musical performer (with female role profile) with strong skills in dance (classical, showdance, swing/jazz), singing and acting and a penchant for glamorous-lascivious performance; playing age 25-35; speaks fluent German; reminiscent of Nancy Sinatra and Ava Gardner, among others, in type. – Musical performer (with male role profile; swing) with strong skills in dance (classical, show dance, swing/jazz), singing, and acting; playing age 50-55; reminiscent of Dean Martin in type. – Afro-European or Afro-American performer/musical actor (with male role profile) with strong skills in dance (classical, showdance, swing/jazz, tap), acting and singing; age 35-50; fluent in German and English; type reminiscent of Sammy Davis Jr. Your SKILLZCARD should contain a video with two songs of your choice, which can best represent your own vocal spectrum, as well as a full body photo, a close-up photo & a dance video. Deadline for submission is 07/17/2021. From the applicants, the production will select participants for the audition on 12.08.21 in Berlin. For this audition, two songs and a monologue must be prepared according to their specifications. Travel expenses to the audition, as well as hotel costs can not be reimbursed.
